Illana Bay Lodge No. 274
The Name
Named after Illana Bay which indents the shorelines of Lanao del Sur, Lanao del Norte, Maguindanao and Cotabato City.
The Lodge
Twenty-eight Master Masons in good standing organized this lodge in Pagadian City. On September 9, 1986, Grand Master Pedro W. Guerzon issued a dispensation authorizing them to form Illana Bay Lodge. The members immediately buckled down to work. In eight months’ time, they held eight
meetings and initiated two candidates for Masonic degrees, passed them to the Second Degree and raised them to the Sublime Degree of Master. Based on such performance, the Grand Lodge granted Illana Bay Lodge a charter during the annual communication held in April 1986.
On July 12, 1986, Grand Master Reynold S. Fajardo constituted this lodge
as a regular lodge with the assistance of several Masonic dignitaries.
